At Sliced Cake Kitchen Bakery, a Honeybourne Cotswold bakery, the story begins with a mother and daughter brought together by a shared love of baking and hard work.

What started as a wholesale bakery supplying cakes to local delis, cafés and restaurants has grown into something much more. As demand increased, Lynne joined forces with her daughter Charlotte to open Sliced, a dedicated cake kitchen and bakery where craft, quality and creativity come together every single day.

A Lifetime of Experience

With over 35 years of experience, Lynne brings an incredible depth of knowledge to Sliced. Her journey began under the guidance of the legendary Joyce Molyneux at The Carved Angel in Dartmouth, a formative experience that shaped her approach to flavour, technique and precision. From there, Lynne went on to hone her skills as a pâtisserie chef in some of the South West’s finest boutique hotels.

Known for her high standards and meticulous attention to detail, Lynne has always believed that great baking starts with great ingredients. By prioritising locally sourced produce and time-honoured methods, she creates cakes that are as memorable to taste as they are beautiful to look at.

Charlotte brings fresh energy, creativity and a deep understanding of what customers love today, while sharing her mum’s commitment to quality and care. Together, they’ve built Sliced into a bakery that feels both special and familiar,  a place where tradition meets modern creativity.
