Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, Sliced is more than just a Honeybourne Cotswold bakery; it’s a place where early mornings, flour-dusted hands and a whole lot of love come together to create something special.
What started as a small wholesale bakery supplying cakes to local delis, cafés and restaurants has grown into something much more. As demand increased, Lynne joined forces with her daughter Charlotte to open Sliced: a dedicated cake kitchen and bakery where craft, quality and creativity are at the heart of everything we do.
Today, Sliced is a much-loved part of the local community. Our goal is simple, to bring people joy through exceptional bakes, thoughtful service, and a shared passion for doing things properly, one slice at a time.
Early Starts and Fresh Bakes
Our days start early. Long before the doors open at 8am, the ovens are already on and our talented baking team begin preparing the day’s bakes. By opening time, the counter is filled with fresh bread, buttery croissants, traybakes and our monthly special, alongside a tempting selection of cakes and sweet treats. Throughout the day, the team continues baking to keep the counter full, ensuring there’s always something fresh waiting for you.
More Than Just the Counter
Alongside our daily bakes, we are also baking up our wholesale orders and online click-and-collect requests. From traybakes and tarts to quiches and beautifully crafted celebration cakes, there’s always something being mixed, baked or decorated.
Teamwork is everything here. We work side by side all day, sharing skills, ideas and the occasional laugh, all in the name of delicious bakes.
A Warm Welcome Front of House
Out front, our friendly front-of-house team is ready to welcome you. From 8am to 4pm, they serve our lovely customers, pour fresh coffee and help you choose the perfect cake.
Whether you’re popping in for a morning croissant, meeting a friend for coffee, or collecting a special cake, we want every visit to feel warm, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable.
